The hardcore update in Pet Simulator X brought with it a handful of locked doors. As you can imagine, some really good collectibles await you behind these closed doors. If you’re looking for a way to crack open all these doors, you’ve come to the right place!
Enabling Hardcore Mode in Pet Simulator X will allow you to open almost all locked doors in the game with great ease and find yourself some special unlockables in the process!
Locked Doors in Pet Simulator X
Confused about how to make your quest for locked doors in Pet Simulator X fruitful? Well, you should make sure to fulfill the basic requirements for your journey of unlocking all the locked doors. There are two things you must take note of before you begin. These are given below.
Hardcore Mode Requirement
Most players will have a hard time figuring out a way to open these doors because the game does not explain anything about opening most of the doors. In fact, even if you do end up finding a locked door, the game will usually just say, “It’s locked”!
Unless you already know what to do to unlock the door, finding one of these locked doors is, therefore, pretty useless on its own. So, what do you need to unlock all these locked doors?
You need to enable the Hardcore Mode in Pet Simulator X. It’s impossible to unlock most of the doors without this, so you need to turn this option on before you set out to crack open any closed doors.
Locations
It is not easy to find the locked doors in the game since they are scattered across the different worlds within Pet Simulator X. For example, you might end up spending an entire day exploring a location like Heaven Island, but all in vain because there is no locked door in that world.
This article will tell you exactly where to look for the locked doors so you don’t waste your time loitering around different locations in the game. All the locked doors mentioned in this article will have their location specified as well, so you can quickly get done with all of them.
Details of All New Locked Doors
Now that you have the basic knowledge needed to embark on your mission of exploring all locked doors, we can take a detailed look at each of the doors one by one. Let us begin!
Town Area Locked Door
The first and foremost locked door you need to go check out is the one in the Town area in Pet Simulator X. This one is not hidden by any means, and even unlocking it is literally as easy as a walk in the park.
You just need to enter Hardcore Mode. Once you’re in Hardcore Mode, you can just walk up to this door and press the E button on your keyboard. Voila! You should now have entered a secret house of sorts.
Now, the neat part: you will get a free purple hoverboard in this house! All you had to do was unlock the door and collect it from inside the house. Pretty cool, right?
Fantasy World Locked Door
The next locked door on the list today is the one located in the Fantasy World. For this one, simply ensure that you’re in Hardcore mode, then teleport to the Portals location under the teleport options for Fantasy World.
Once there, head around the circular portals, and you should be able to see a locked door behind the portal on the far left. Again, you can now simply walk up to it and press E to unlock it.
Doing this should allow you to get yourself ten extra pet slots. The available content behind this door also varies with updates, so you might end up getting something even better!
Alien Forest Locked Door
There is another locked door in Pet Simulator X that is hidden away in the Alien Forest. This one is different from other doors because this one happens to be a sort of trapdoor that is actually completely on the floor, so you might not see it unless you keep an eye out for such a special door.
Once again, the only thing you need to do to unlock it is to just make sure that you are already in Hardcore mode, and that should allow you to easily open it up. There are, however, no rewards for this one yet. They might be added in the future, though, so be sure to try your luck whenever you get the chance!
Cat Taiga Locked Door
If you’re getting the impression that all doors are unlockable merely by going into Hardcore Mode, this door should help you clear out your doubts. This door is home to the Cat Throne and the Giant Throne Chest.
This one is located in the Cat Taiga world, and is actually pretty well hidden. You need to go behind the waterfall in the Cat Taiga biome, and you should find this door there. To unlock it, you need to spend a huge amount of coins, in the order of trillions of coins!
If you think a price of around 7.5 trillion Rainbow Coins is too high, know that the Royal Egg you find here will let you get free huge pets (possibly even the Huge Green Balloon Cat), which are some of the strongest and rarest pets in the game!
Conclusion
Although it will take some time and effort on your part, it is a great idea to try and unlock all the new locked doors in Pet Simulator X. The freebies like the hoverboard and pets you might get from doing so are definitely worth the energy spent in this process.
