Hey there, Roblox Slap Battles fans! Have you been eyeing the new Psycho glove that just dropped but have no clue how to get it?
Don’t worry; we’re here to show you exactly how to get your hands on the Psycho glove. To unlock the Psycho glove in your inventory, you need the Ultimate Control badge. Getting the Control badge is a little tricky since there is a time-limited obby involved, but it’s nothing you can’t do!
So without wasting any time, let’s get right into 5 simple steps to getting the Psycho Glove and the Ultimate Control badge!
Step 1: The Reverse Glove
The Control badge and Psycho glove are obtained in a place called “The Ruins”. Entering The Ruins can take a little time. You and another player get a 3% chance of teleporting to The Ruins each time you use a reverse ability and slap another player while they do the same. This is called the Reverse Incident.
Naturally, the first step is to equip the Reverse glove from your inventory so you can use the reverse ability. But you aren’t gonna be able to teleport there alone!
Step 2: Call Your Buddy!
Since you need to slap another player that is in on the Reverse Incident plan, this is the perfect time to call a friend to log into the game. You both have a chance of getting teleported there, meaning they can unlock the Psycho glove as well!
Have your friend equip the Reverse glove and head into a normal arena together. Once there, slap each other simultaneously with the Reverse ability activated. Don’t worry if you don’t get teleported on the first try, keep on trying till you land your 3% chance!
Step 3: Getting to the Start Line
Once you guys finally get the right Reverse Incident, you will be teleported to The Ruins. Now here’s the tough part! Walk down the staircase you spawn on and head to the edge to begin the Obby. Don’t worry, the clock doesn’t start ticking just yet!
You’ll be greeted with pillars that you must jump across to make your way to the first platform. Some of these pillars will also rotate, so you need to mind your jump timings. To make matters worse, gravity is lowered here, so you’ll have to get used to newer, slower jump timings!
At the end of this section of the obstacle course, you reach the first platform. Here we face the time trial!
Step 4: Getting to the Finish Line
As soon as you land, a lightning strike sound pierces through the Ruins, and your screen goes black and white. From this point on, you only get 60 seconds to reach the second platform. If you don’t manage to do so, you die.
There is no countdown timer display, so you won’t be able to know the exact remaining time at any point. You will have to guess the remaining time from the heartbeats you hear during the lobby.
The heartbeats keep getting faster and faster, signaling that you have less time remaining, so get there before you hear the heart start racing! When you reach the second platform in under a minute, you’ll hear another lightning strike as the colors on your screen return to normal.
Step 5: Go Grab Your Glove and Badge!
Head back down the obstacle course to the first platform and then to the staircase where you spawned. You can let out a sigh of relief since there’s no time limitation this time!
Atop the staircase, you’ll see a blue glove hovering on the ground. Clicking this glove will reward you with the Ultimate Control badge, which in turn unlocks the Psycho glove in your inventory!
Congratulations! You beat the challenge between you and your Psycho glove and Control badge. Fortunately for us, all the effort put into the obby pays off because the Psycho glove is a total treat!
Play Around With Your New Glove
When you slap someone with a Psycho glove, you get to manipulate them freely with the power of telekinesis. The slapped player will glow in blue and levitate once they are under your control. Tap E and pull them close if they’re away, or tap E and push them away if they’re close. It’s a really fun way to mess around with your friends!
Combine the pushing and pulling with attacks in between, and you’ll basically be undefeatable! The Psycho glove also grants you a passive ability that makes you invincible. By double jumping and holding the jump, you can float in the air and move around for a short while, during which you won’t take any hits!
So what are you waiting for? Equip the Psycho glove and slap away! Don’t forget to leave a message in the comments section below to tell us how much fun you had with your Psycho glove, and check out what others have to say if you’re stuck somewhere. Until next time, happy slapping!
