Roblox is the land of imagination. If you can think of it, it’s probably a game on Roblox. If not, you can probably make it with little programming involvement. Of course, another speciality of Roblox is games that border on copyright infringement, with some being far bolder than others. Fruit Battlegrounds is quite bold, as it features One-Piece inspired Fruits and lets you battle your friends with them! Of course, like any good Roblox game, these Fruits don’t come cheap. You’ll have to invest time or Robux to get the best ones.
Still, even if you’ve got the best Fruits the game offers, it isn’t immediately obvious how to use them the best. If you find yourself in the pursuit of the Lightning Fruit or just confused about how to use it best, this article is for you!
How to Get the Lightning Fruit in Fruits Battleground?
As with most Roblox games, there often isn’t a way to get the really cool stuff easily. If you’d like the Lightning Fruit, you’ve got to be willing to put in some time (and possibly some Robux) to that end. The only way you can get the Lightning Fruit is by opening the chest and spinning for a Fruit at the Inn.
Of course, the odds are really stacked against you since the Lightning Fruit only has a 0.03% chance of coming up! You can increase your chances of getting this Fruit by having a premium Roblox membership, but that’s just by the by.
How to Use Lightning Fruit in Fruits Battleground?
Let’s assume, by some divine miracle, that you’ve actually acquired the famed Lightning Fruit. Now what? Unfortunately, these Fruits don’t come with an instruction manual. Lucky for you, we’re here to expound upon the Secrets of the Jedi, Lightning Fruit usage included. Let’s dive right in because God knows you’ve waited a long time for that damned Fruit!
Ability Breakdown
The Lightning Fruit has a total of six moves, each of which offers a slightly different thing. The first, and perhaps the most unique move, is Voltage Up. Instead of it having an effect itself, it serves to augment your other abilities by making them better in some significant way, such as via increased damage or AoE (Area of Effect).
It spawns a cool little lightning orb on your back, and you can have four of these little orbs at maximum. Each orb adds some extra kachow to your other abilities.
The Second Ability
The second ability is Lightning Palm, in which your character dashes a short distance in front of them, inflicting multiple blows which deal decent damage. The more orbs you have, the greater the damage dealt. Note that to access the higher damage via your accumulated orbs, you need to consume them. As such, higher damage-dealing Lightning Palm has a short windup time.
The Third Ability
The third ability is very similar to the previous one and is called Crashing Thunder. This ability starts off with your character crashing into the ground where you’re aiming, ignoring your opponent’s block. Then, it unleashes a swarm of lightning, which deals damage in a certain AoE. It can deal up to 230 damage if you have all four orbs.
The Fourth Ability
The fourth ability is called Projected Burst, which actually has five different variants depending on the number of orbs you have. With no orbs, the move is a basic projectile attack that does not guard break but does deal a slight stun and 130 damage.
With one orb, the move still does not guard break but does slightly more damage, clocking in at 150. With two orbs, the move breaks guard and deals a decent 180 damage. With three orbs, it retains the benefits of a two-orb Projectile Burst but deals 210 damage! Finally, with the power of all four orbs, your Projectile Burst turns into a Projectile Beam, which ignores block and deals a whopping 230 damage!
The Fifth Ability
The fifth ability is called Crushing Judgement, which spawns a giant raincloud above your opponent, raining down sporadic lightning bolts before unleashing a monstrous beam like a four-orb Projectile Burst. This move only deals 110 damage, which does not scale with orbs. However, having more orbs increases the move’s AoE, and having four orbs almost makes it undodgeable.
The Sixth Ability
The final move for this Fruit is called Raigo, which is essentially the Fruit’s ultimate ability. It is essentially a giant lightning ball which deals massive damage, going upto more than 300 if you are able to land all the hits.
Now that you are aware of the Lightning Fruit’s skill set, you are ready to use it in duels. Remember, there is no optimal strategy, and the exact move combinations will vary from duel to duel. As such, just be smart in your ability usage, and make sure you know the ins and outs of your Fruit!
