Few things in life are more certain than a Roblox game that almost infringes on various copyright laws, managing to skirt those restrictions by the skin of its teeth. Of course, if you’re a fan of the worlds these games emulate, then you’ll be ecstatic to learn that they are allowed on the Roblox game store with impunity. One such game is Dragon Soul, a fairly new installment in a long line of proud copyright-law-taunting games.
If you’re a Dragon Ball Z fan, you’ll find a lot of satisfaction in playing Dragon Soul, which does very little to hide its inspiration. If you’re looking to get into the game but aren’t quite sure if it’s worth your time yet, this article is for you. Specifically, we shall go over the various forms you can take in this game, and if these pique your interest, then you should definitely give the game a shot. So, without further ado, let’s dive right in.
Super Saiyan I
-
Super Saiyan 1
As mentioned previously, Dragon Soul is fairly on the nose with its inspiration. The first form you can acquire is Super Saiyan I, which is a fairly easy-to-acquire form. Importantly, this only costs fifteen thousand Zeni (the in-game currency) and has a level requirement of 68. As such, you can get this form pretty early.
-
Super Saiyan 1 Stats
In Dragon Soul, forms can be trained to acquire higher tiers, which offer better stats than the basic tiers. Super Saiyan I provides the stats defined above at its most basic tier.
-
Super Saiyan 1 Stats Boosts
However, at its highest tier, the stats are increased by a decent amount to the values defined above.
Super Saiyan II
-
Super Saiyan 2
As far as creative names go, this form doesn’t rank too highly on that list. However, it is remarkably good at describing its qualities. It’s essentially a much-improved version of the previous Super Saiyan form!
-
Super Saiyan 2 Stats
With a level requirement of 250 and a Zeni cost of forty thousand, it seems that good things do not come cheap in Dragon Soul. However, this form is really quite good. Its basic tier stats are defined above.
-
All Super Saiyan 2 Stats
At its highest tier, the stat boosts go up quite a bit. Reference the picture above for exact numbers.
Super Saiyan III

In the pantheon of plainly named forms, the Super Saiyan III reigns supreme. With its excellent stats, it easily beats out the previous two forms in terms of its value.
-
Requirements of Super Saiyan 3
Of course, this value is reflected in the difficulty of acquisition. With a level requirement of 450 and a Zeni cost of 50,000, Super Saiyan III requires far more levels than its previous iteration, though the monetary cost is not similarly disparate. Its first-tier stats are represented above.
-
Super Saiyan 3 Stats
After a lot of grinding, you can acquire the stats described above, which are available at the highest tier.
Super Saiyan Rage
-
Super Saiyan Rage
The Super Saiyan Rage form, in our opinion, represents the beginning of the middling forms. These are the forms that are quite powerful but are still considered middle-tier. Being the lowest entry in this middling-tier, Super Saiyan Rage has great utility but underperforms when compared to later forms.
-
Super Saiyan Rage Requirements
The stat boosts it provides on its basic tier are quite impressive, but the level requirement is quite steep. Thankfully, one can acquire it for free by defeating the Goku Black boss.
-
Super Saiyan Rage Ki Requirements
At its highest tier, the stats go up by quite a bit.
Super Saiyan IV
-
Super Saiyan 4
No matter what one does, it seems we cannot escape the curse of boring form names. Still, as far as these forms go, Super Saiyan IV is really exceptional. It provides great stats and servers as a transitionary form between middling and higher tiers.
-
Super Saiyan 4 Base Stats
The best part about Super Saiyan IV is its excellent basic tier stats. However, the level requirement and Zeni cost make this fairly difficult to acquire.
-
Super Saiyan IV Stats and Requirements
Compared to some other forms, Super Saiyan IV does not scale so well in its higher tiers. Still, the utility it provides is undeniable.
Mystic
-
Mystic
Mystic represents our first real high-tier form, with its stats being worth every single Zeni you have in your pocket (quite literally)! We are real fans of this form, so you’d better appreciate it once you get it!
-
Mystic Stats
This form is perhaps the most difficult to acquire, considering you have to beat the entire storyline and forfeit all your Zenis to get it. We still think it’s worth it, but you can decide for yourself.
-
Mystic Requirements
When it comes to scaling, there is no form that matches Mystic. It increases all its stat boosts by nearly five times by the Mastery tier. However, it has an additional tier to get through, so grinders beware!
Great Ape
-
Great Ape
The Great Ape form is slightly different from other forms, whereby this form has a cooldown and set duration. This is mainly a balancing factor, as the form is incredibly powerful.
-
Great Ape Requirements
The form is so powerful that its stat boosts are unquantified. However, from personal experience, we can assure you that they’re intense. Acquiring this form is similarly intense. You need to beat the Great Ape boss that spawns in the Ape Wasteland and hope you get the Saiyan Tail (which only has a 1% drop rate).
Next, you need to beat Vegeta thirty times! Of course, a prerequisite to all this is your being level 900. Trust us when we say this, getting this form is not easy.
This form scales in the time you are in the form, so getting higher tiers allows you to be in the Great Ape form for longer.
Conclusion
With the information above, you should have all you need in your arsenal of knowledge to decide if you want to sink in a few lifetimes into this game. If you’ve decided this is your poison of choice, we wish you the best of luck in the grind. May it be fruitful and enjoyable!
