This year, in 2022, Roblox decided to take a move on supporting the various influencers that have stuck about the game by introducing ‘Roblox Star Codes’. Each influencer has a unique star code that they can share with their respective viewers.

If you make a purchase for Robux, and decide to put in the Star Code of your favorite influencer, they will at all times receive 5% of the Robux that you’ve purchased, without ever actually taking from your total amount.

How Do I Put in the Star Code in Roblox Mobile?

To use Star Codes for influencers, you’re going to have to head to your Roblox app on mobile. This works on both iOS and Android.

1. Click on the ‘Robux’ icon, next to the notification bell.

   

2. You will be redirected to a page with different purchase options.
3. At the bottom, you can tap on the ‘Tap here’ prompt.

   

4. Doing so, will prompt you with a dialog box.
5. Input the star code for your favorite influencer.
6. Any purchases you make with this star code, will gift the influencer with Robux.

Do Star Codes Expire?

The star codes that you add during your purchase will be saved for the next 2 weeks. You will not have to always re-enter the code each time, but you will be at liberty to change it any time you will.

For now, this seems like a feature that’s here to stay. You can use star codes whenever you like in the future without having to worry about any of the creator’s codes expiring.

Do Star Codes Give You Robux?

No, using Star Codes in your purchase will not reward you with any additional Robux. You will get your full purchased amount with the creator receiving a 5% of the amount of Robux you purchased. The codes are meant to allow players to support their favorite content creators.

Do You Get Less Robux When Using Star Codes?

No, you do not get less Robux if you use a Star Code. Roblox will pay out 5% of the purchased amount and you will still receive the complete amount regardless. The system is only meant to support Video Stars. Therefore, using it poses no disadvantage whatsoever.
