Gang Beasts is a title in the beat em’ up party game genre that was developed and published by Boneleaf, a British indie studio, and it was released in December of 2017 on macOS, Microsoft Windows, Linux, and PlayStation 4.
It was released for early access on PC platforms in August of 2014, and in March of 2019, it was released on Xbox One. Wobbly, colorful, and weird characters that kick, push, pull, throw, and pummel their rivals are the stars of this title. Real physics are modeled in the game, which adds to the fun and the challenging nature of this game.

In Among Us, you can choose to play as one of two teams; either as part of team of human crewmates or as one of the alien imposters. For the alien imposters, sabotaging the skip and killing as many crewmates as possible to prevent them from achieving their goals is the objective. There can be between 4 and 15 players in a single round while the imposters are secretly chosen at random for every round. Teams determine the objective of the game.

Brawlhalla features a variety of game modes, and for the majority of these modes, knocking your opponents off the stage is the goal. This can be achieved by doing repeated damage to opponents, and that damage is represented on a color display around the character’s icon.
The icon goes from white to red to black, and the closer the color on the icon goes to red, the farther back the player will be knocked until they’re eventually knocked out.
There are numerous characters you can choose from to play as in Brawlhalla. When the game was first launched, there were 34 characters, and as of July of 2022, there were a total of 56 characters. All characters, which are known as “Legends”, have their own unique stats, loadout, and skins. This title can be played both locally and online, and you can choose to join a clan or share exp points, which can be used to level-up.
10. Final Vendetta

Final Vendetta is the final title in the Vendetta series. The pixel art is stunning and the soundtrack, which features exclusive tracks from Utah Saints, will be sure to get your toes tapping.
This game stars Claire Sparks, both a student and a martial arts expert. Sparks is on a mission to rescue her sister, who was kidnapped by Syndica8, a notorious gang. Duke Sancho, is another character, who is clever, bare-knuckled fighter who hails from London.
Miller T. Williams, an ex-pro wrestler from Canada, is another one of the main characters. Together, these three friends embark on a journey to save Sparks’ sister, and they will need to battle their way through the streets of London in order to do so.

The characters have different abilities and fighting styles, as well as weapons, but all of them are kick-ass fighters. The next title on the list of games that are similar to Gang Beasts is Tower Fall. This action indie video game was developed by Maddy Thorson via Matt Makes Games, her company.
The game was released on the Ouya microconsole in 2013 and later on, it was released on PS4, Xbox One, OS X, Linux, and Windows as Tower Fall Ascension, and then it was released on Nintendo Switch under its original name, Tower Fall.
An archery combat arena game, in Tower Fall, you’ll control up to four archers. Your goal is to take out other archers by using arrows and head-stomp moves until just one player is left standing.
Multiplayer mode is available, too, in which up to four players will combat one another in an arena using a finite supply of arrows. Players can replenish their arrow supply by collecting other arrows that are shot in the arena. There are “treasure” power-ups, too, which grant players shields, wings, and arrows that will increase their power.
The rules of the game can be customized and saved to be used later on. There are a total of four game modes available. In single-player mode, you have to hit targets around the arena before a timer runs out. In the other modes, you’ll go up against other players, with the goal of being the last archer standing.
13. Hello Neighbor

A survival horror steal game, Hello Neighbor was developed by Dynamic Pixels and was published by tinyBuild. The title was initially released as public alphas in 2016, and in was fully released on Microsoft Windows and Xbox One in December of 2017. In 2018, the title was released on PS4, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS.
In this game, you’ll play as Nicky Roth, and your mission is to investigate a creepy and mysterious neighbor, named Theodore Peterson (often referred to simply as Mr Peterson or The Neighbor) who lives across the street.
Your goal is to sneak into Mr. Peterson’s house in an effort to uncover a dark secret without being caught. The games AI alters the behavior of the neighbor, and uses the player’s past actions to make these modifications; setting traps along paths the player used in a previous attempt to enter the house, for example.
Though the game had a rocky start when it was first released, issues were corrected, and since it was released, Hello Neighbor has become a franchise, complete with two spin-offs. The game starts out with the player moving into a new house that is situated across the street from a mysterious man who acts paranoid and appears to be keeping a secret hidden in his basement.
The objective, as mentioned, is to break into the neighbor’s new house, and to successfully solve a series of puzzles in order to collect the items that are needed to unlock and gain entry into his basement. As you explore the house, you have to avoid being spotted, otherwise, you will be chased down and if you aren’t fast enough to get away or to hide, you will be captured.
You can throw items at the neighbor in order to distract him as you attempt to escape. If you are caught, or if you sustain an injury, you will be sent back to your own house and will have to restart the game.
All-in-all, Hello Neighbor is a fun, yet nerve-racking and challenging game. If you’re a fan of Gang Beasts, then you’re definitely going to want to check out this title.
14. Super Smash Bros

A cross-over fighting game that was published by Nintendo, the series was developed by Masahiro Sakurai, who had a part in directing all of the games in the series, which is hailed for its unique gameplay, which is different from other traditional fighter games, as the objective is to increase the damage counters and to knock opponents off the stage rather than deplete their bars as in other fighter games.
