Gacha games have exploded in popularity over the past few years, all starting with the titular Genshin Impact video games. Over time, the genre has been fleshed out considerably with many rich, story-based, and in-depth explorations. A telltale sign of a Gacha game is its highly involved Unit progression and the vast variety of Units available.
Evertale is no different. Featuring a breathtaking storyline, highly immersive gameplay, vast amounts of customizability, and PvP action, Evertale is a Gacha game for the big leagues.
However, its in-depth system can be intimidating for some. The huge roster of Units can, in particular, cause analysis paralysis when choosing who to bring into battle. As such, we have compiled this Tier List which will help you decide if a Unit is worth the trouble of acquiring it. Let’s dive right into it.
S Tier
We’ll start this Tier List off with the best Units in the game, who are indispensable in the field of battle. The list itself is pretty long, so we’ll go over only a few notable entries in some detail. Our S Tier ranking is as follows:
- Snow White – Queen of Dreams
- Anya – The Lost Von Draclow
- Callen – Daughter of the Dragon
- Endless Rizette – Angel of Ruin
- Fornaxos – Flame Incarnate
- Jeanne d’Arc – Maiden of Radiance
- Ludmilla – Crimson Valkyrie
- Rolotia – Sorceress of Dawn
- Shanna – Red Riding Hood, Dragon Slayer
- Alira – Silk-Veiled Siren
- Alira – Sweet Beach Temptation
- Aria – Petite Primordial
- Astrid – Hero of the West
- Elmina – Sunkissed Mirage
- Endless Astrid – Voice of Defiance
- Norza – Blade of the Aeons
- Ossia – The Hollow Heart
- Saya – Solitary Star
- Young Rizette – Pure Blue
Out of the vast variety of S Tier Units, we believe two stand out in particular.
-
Elmina, Sunkissed Mirage (Courtesy of Evertale Wiki)
Firstly, Elmina, the Sunkissed Mirage is an excellent Unit. She has excellent damage output, as well as being a solid Poison and Stealth Unit. In general, she just crushes.
-
Snow White, Queen of Dreams (Courtesy of Evertale Wiki)
One of, if not the, strongest Units in the game, Snow White dominates in her role. As a Damage dealing Unit, she has amazing damage output. Furthermore, she applies Bleed to enemy Units, causing massive damage overtime. She’s an absolute must-have if your Team is wanting for firepower.
A Tier
The Units in this Tier provide considerable utility and are generally an excellent option. However, they are outclassed in many ways by their S Tier counterparts, and their roles can be better filled by other Units within the S Tier. As such, they must be relegated to the A Tier. Here are our picks for the A Tier:
- Altaireon – Soul of the Storm
- Antares – Thunderhearted Heroine
- Artimeia – Lady of the White Moon
- Astrid – Hero of Rigland
- Bahamut – Terror of the Gods
- Clarice – Venomous Rose
- Cyrus – Mercurial Mastermind
- Endless Ludmilla – Savior of the Living City
- Endless Rizette – Maid of Midwinter
- Hibiki – Demon of Class 2-B
- Kisara – Blade of the Summer Sun
- Maxima – Fiery Princess
- Mirai – Sparkling Idol
- Rei – Goddess of Bounty
- Rei – Sakura Onmyoji
- Rizette – Light-bearing Leader
- Rizette – Spring’s First Blossom
- Rolotia – Lady of Eternal Summer
- Shiori – Steel-Edged Sakura
- Yuki – Born of Winter
-
Bahamut, Terror of the Gods (Courtesy of Evertale Wiki)
One of the best Units in the game that narrowly misses out on an S Tier spot is Bahamut, Terror of the Gods. Bahamut provides excellent crowd control, and immense damage and is one of the best Poison Units in the game. He’s a must-have for any Poison team.
-
Rei (Courtesy Of Evertale Wiki)
Despite her salacious emblem, Rei is a force to be reckoned with. She deals excellent damage, provides ample support to fellow Units, and has great sustainability.
B Tier
Here, the Units start waning in their utility. However, the B Tier Units are still pretty decent in most scenarios but do not set themselves apart in a meaningful way. As such, they are passable but unremarkable. In this Tier, all the Units are very meh. Here are the Units we think fall into this Tier:
- Akatsuki – Elven Swordmaster Supreme
- Alice – The Eternal Dream
- Diabolos – Dragon Lord of Shadow
- Endless Astrid – Twilight Bride
- Finn – The Crimson Crestbearer
- Kaidaros – Riptide Guardian
- Kirin – Mythweaver
- Lucius – Fighter Against Fate
- Merdain – Knight of Vengeance
- Rizette – The Cerulean Crestbearer
- Ryouma – Warrior of the Nameless Beast
- Shirra – Mistress of the Butterflies
- Vesh – Will of the Soil
- Voraxion – Adamantine Maw
-
Endless Astrid, Twilight Bride (Courtesy Of Evertale Wiki)
One of the better Units from this Tier is Endless Astrid, Twilight Bride. Her primary utility is derived from her ability to provide sustain and deal damage. While she isn’t amazing at either, she’s good enough at both to earn her a special shout.
C Tier
This Tier features Units that are not good but not atrocious. Mostly, these Units do not provide much utility but do have something to offer, though not of much value. Our picks for this Tier are:
- Druke – Apex Blademaster
- Elmina – Yuletide Rogue
- Le Fay – The Witch of Avalon
- Ludmilla – Summertime Valkyrie
- Nagi – The Ladies’ Knight
- Orzachron – Organica War Machine MK
- Rashanar – The Burning Hunger
- Rolotia – Timeless Beauty
- Elmina – Void Renegade
-
Druke, Apex Blademaster (Courtesy Of Evertale Wiki)
In the C Tier, the only Unit worthy of note is Druke, Apex Blademaster. His ability to deal Burn damage and provide decent damage, if given the right circumstances, means he’s more notable than most in this Tier.
D Tier
These Units are the absolute worst. Even if you have them, you’ll find no use in employing them in battle, whether PvP or otherwise. As such, just ignore these Units for the most part. The only reason you should use any of these Units is if you enjoy using them. Our D Tier is:
- Grenzor – Scourge of the Hinterlands
- Oumei – Spirit of Spring
- Vonn – Bearer of the Demon Maul
- Imran – The Walking Storm
Thankfully, there really aren’t that many Units in Evertale that are useless. However, the four listed above are pretty bad, so avoid using them. None are more notable than the others.
Conclusion
We hope that this guide has been helpful in eliminating choices for your Team, and that you are now well on your way to building the greatest Evertale Team this world has ever seen.
Of course, remember that these rankings are based on a strict consideration of the game’s current meta, and are subject to change with new updates and Unit additions. Furthermore, the only ranking that really matters is your own, so listen to your heart when building a Team!
