How To Win In Roblox BedWars: Tips & Tricks

Quick Tips

1. Height Advantage: Always carry blocks in your inventory to create verticality, making it harder for opponents to track you.
2. Selecting the Right Kit: Grim Reaper and Eldertree kits are currently among the best in the game. Grim Reaper provides invulnerability and health regen, while Eldertree increases size and HP.
3. Weapon Choice: Aim for a stone sword early in the game to dominate in early skirmishes.
4. Defensive Measures: While focusing on offense, ensure your bed is fortified to make it harder for enemies to destroy.
5. Combat Style: Don’t shy away from spam clicking during battles.
6. Resource Collection: Generator splitting is a crucial skill to learn, especially in team play.
7. Continuous Play: The more you play, the better you’ll become.

Understand And Use Height Advantage

Most of the time, a 1v1 in Bedwars is decided based on who gets in the first hit. To this end, attacking your opponent from the high ground is very useful. As such, keep a few things in mind. Firstly, make sure you always have blocks in your inventory, as this will allow you to gain a height advantage via some quick building.

Secondly, introducing some verticality into your fights makes you much harder to track, meaning you are less likely to get hit. So if you’re not using blocks and varying your height during a 1v1, you should start as soon as possible. It’ll make 1v1s far more favorable!

Choose An Appropriate Kit

Having an appropriate kit will help a lot in ensuring you can clutch out more games, specifically via the bonuses that kits provide. Currently, the best kits within the game include the Grim Reaper and Eldertree Kits. These kits are not free but are well worth the investment if you’re looking to up your game.

Furthermore, these kits are beginner-friendly and a useful starting point if you’re looking to improve at Bedwars. Let’s go over why each of these kits has such high utility.

Firstly, the Grim Reaper kit gives you the ability to consume souls, which grants you invulnerability and increased health regen for 2.5 seconds. This is a very useful skill in the event you are fighting multiple people, whereby you can quickly kill one, consume their soul, and scurry away or reset for the next fight.

Furthermore, the increased health regen can be used to get back into fighting shape more quickly.

Secondly, the Eldertree gives you the ability to collect Tree Orbs from around the map, which increases your size and maximum HP. This means you can quickly become very tanky, giving you a greater margin of error during fights. However, you cannot buy armor when this kit is equipped, which may be an issue in the late game if you have not collected enough Tree Orbs.

As such, it is important to spread the map as an Eldertree player, though this is made easier because you do not need to farm armor!

Rush A Stone Sword

Rushing a stone sword is a good way to get a slight advantage in the early game. This will make killing your neighbor far more manageable as a stone sword only takes four hits to kill an enemy when they have no armor, which they will not in the early game. Furthermore, if your neighbor decides to rush you, you’ll likely be better equipped than they are (wooden vs stone).

However, if your neighbor decides they would like to chill, you should probably rush them. Getting rid of your neighbor as soon as possible is useful as it gives you access to two generators, which doubles your income and allows you to get your items faster.

As a side note, make sure to fortify your bed when rushing or being rushed, as it will make destroying your bed just a little harder.

Spam Click!

While button-mashing and other types of spamming are generally frowned upon in the gaming community, BedWars is an exception to the rule. Here, spamming click when in a 1v1 is exceptionally useful! Specifically, it allows you to focus solely on tracking the enemy and keeping your cursor fixed on them at all times.

Furthermore, spamming click ensures that you are hitting them as fast as you can, which may give you the edge in a battle of trades. In summary, do not buy into the one-tap hype; just keep spamming!

Learn How To Gen Split

Generator splitting is useful for squad games where multiple people share a single generator. If you were to take turns collecting iron from the generator, your farm would be very slow, and it would take a long time to get your items. As such, every BedWars player should know how to Gen Split, a technique that allows both players to receive the same iron simultaneously! Here’s how you do it.

First, position yourself or get your partner to stand two blocks away from the generator. You can see how many blocks away you are standing by looking at the ground in front of you. Do not move any closer, or you may accidentally collect the stored iron.

Now, all you have to do is collect the iron or get your friend to collect the iron. 

Essentially, stand two blocks away from the generator and have your partner collect the iron or vice versa. This will give you and your partner the amount collected in the generator. Note that this is a perfectly legal strategy that is encouraged in higher-level play. If you use this strategy well, you’ll get twice the farm than a team that is not using this strategy!

Play More, A Lot More

As with anything else, the best way to improve is to practice a lot. BedWars is no exception. The more games you play, the better your game sense, tracking, building, and farming will become. The intangibles of BedWars, like when to rush mid, how to approach specific Kits, when to exploit certain item timings, etc., can only be learned by putting in the hours.

Therefore, the most important tip that I can give is, unsurprisingly, the simplest one: play more BedWars! The aforementioned tips will pay dividends as you get better at the game, though rest assured, they will help you immediately as well if you apply them correctly.
