You might have seen the occasional Roblox player with two of their favorite hairstyles equipped at the same time. It doesn’t sound pretty practical, but it sure does look funny.
So, how do you equip multiple hairs in Roblox to begin with? Is there a secret trick to it? Thankfully, it’s pretty straightforward and simple. There are actually four ways to equip more than one hairpiece in Roblox to spruce up your custom blocky character.
Method #1: Using the Roblox Website
To add multiple hairstyles to your Roblox Avatar, follow these steps:
- Visit Roblox.com and log in to your official Roblox account.
- From the list of options on the left, select Avatar.
- Within the Avatar section, click on Body and then choose Hair.
- Decide on the base hairstyle you want to use.
- Right-click the second hairstyle you want and select ‘Copy Link Address.’
- At the bottom of the page, click on Advanced.
- You’ll see a checklist; locate the textbox labeled “Asset ID.”
- Paste the copied link into the Asset ID textbox and save by clicking the button at the bottom.
- A pop-up notification will appear; confirm your changes by clicking the Save button.
- Observe that your Avatar now displays a variety of hairstyles.
Keep in mind that the number of added items depends on available Asset ID slots. Note that this method is exclusively for the official website; options may differ when using the Roblox app.
Method #2: How to Add Multiple Hairstyles on Mobile
To use more than two hairstyles on Roblox, follow these steps using the Roblox.com website on your mobile through Chrome. And as mentioned previously, this doesn’t work in the official Roblox app.
- Open Chrome on your mobile device and visit the Roblox.com website.
- Look for the option “Continue in Browser” beneath the “Continue in App” button and select it.
- Click on the three dots located on the top right corner of the Chrome Browser.
- From the options that appear, choose “Desktop Site” to switch to a desktop view of the interface.
- Once the view changes, click on the three horizontal lines of the Roblox located in the top left corner of the screen.
- Choose the “Avatar” option from the menu that appears.
- In the Hair & Body dropdown menu, click on the “Hair” tab.
- Select any two unlocked hairstyles from the list, and they will be equipped on your avatar.
Method #3: Adding Multiple Hairs By Buying “Combine Hair”

Method #4: Using BTROblox Extension in Google Chrome
If you’re looking for a free way to give your character multiple hairstyles on Roblox without spending money, follow these steps:
Step 1: Add the BTRoblox Extension
- Open your Chrome browser and access its Settings. From there, click on “Extensions”.
- Next, click on the Hamburger icon on the left and go to “Open Chrome Web Store.”
- Once the store opens, type “BTRoblox” in the search bar on the left side. Click on the first extension that appears in the search results and click “Add to Chrome.”
- After clicking “Add to Chrome,” the browser will check for compatibility and prompt you to add the extension. Click on “Add extension.”
Step 2: Sync Your Roblox Account with BTRoblox
- After installing the extension, open your Roblox account. Click on the extension icon located on the top left. From there, click on the “BTRoblox” extension to sync it with your Roblox account.
- You can now activate various features from the menu that appears when clicking on the BTRoblox extension. Remember to refresh your Roblox home page to apply any changes.
- Navigate to your avatar customization by clicking on the avatar option in the left menu.
- Next, click on the “Hair” option under the body customization menu. This is where you can apply multiple hairstyles to your character.
Step 3: Add Multiple Hairs in Roblox
- Choose the first hairstyle you want to apply. After that, right-click on the hairstyle you want to use as the second one. From the drop-down menu, select “Copy link address.”
- Scroll down the page until you find the “Advanced” option. Click on it and paste the copied link in the blank space labeled “Asset ID.” Then, click “Save”.
- Once you’ve saved it, you’ll see a confirmation status in green at the top. This is how you can add multiple hairstyles to your avatar.
You can also add hairstyles by clicking on them directly. However, note that you can only do this once; as for subsequent changes, you’ll need to refresh the home page.
