Gotham Knights has changed up the formula massively by introducing a progression system where you’ll be acquiring different materials to create more powerful pieces of gear.
In your journey, you’ll have to venture out to farm specific items in order to increase your viability in combat. This guide will show you how to farm legendary metals in Gotham Knights to craft better gear.
How to Farm Legendary Metals In Gotham Knights?
NTH Metal is a Legendary Material that has a small chance to drop after you defeat an enemy. Your best bet is to fight Champion and Veteran enemies as much as possible. Unlock as many fast travel points as possible and repeat mediated crimes.
Best Way to Farm Legendary Metals in Gotham Knights
To earn as much NTH Metal as possible, you’re going to have to increase the number of enemies you defeat. This can be done by directly engaging in mediated crimes and decreasing the time it takes to commute to each of these places.
Meet Fox for Fast Travel
Once you’ve progressed enough in the main story (Until File 2.1: The Rabbit Hole), you will receive an E-Mail that will ask you to go and meet Lucius.
Go to the marked location on your map, and he will ask you to scan the drone network. Complete all of these if you want to grind mediated crimes.
Doing so will give you access to fast travel throughout the map, making getting around much easier.

Before you dive into the grind, make sure you have the best armor equipped so you can walk out of these encounters unscathed. Otherwise, the higher-level enemies will absolutely floor you, slowing down your progress significantly.
Gotham Heights Mediated Crimes

Go to the fast-travel point located in Gotham Heights (North-Most part of the map), between two mediated crimes. From this point, complete both of these instances as fast as possible while using either your vehicle or grapple to traverse between the two activities.
Monarch Theater Mediated Crimes

Travel to the next point at Monarch theater, and complete the mediated crime situated right next to the fast-travel point. After completing it, you can repeat the cycle, and travel back to Gotham Heights. As you do this rapidly, you’ll be able to rack up a large number of knockouts and gather yourself a decent amount of NTH Legendary Metals.
Combat Tips for NTH Metal Farming
Our focus is to clear out high-tier enemies as fast as possible. Champions and Veterans aren’t easy to take down, but with powerful gear, it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
In the midst of your fight, clear out Champions and Veterans first, and then fight off the rest. Since you’ll be focusing on the two classes only, it’s good to bring a hero that can efficiently deal with single targets. Red Hood (Jason Todd) has two pistols that can effectively focus the tougher enemies first.
You can complete other activities as well including Owl Nests around the city while you’re at it. If you feel like changing up the scenery, you can travel to other points not mentioned above. But, the two aforementioned locations provide a fast way to deal with multiple enemies in a small timeframe to farm NTH Metal.
Conclusion
The best way to acquire yourself some upgrades is to just play along with the direction the game’s taking you. While you can certainly power yourself up beforehand by grinding out a few activities, you won’t have too much trouble with progression as the game gives you plentiful rewards. However, if you still feel like giving yourself a bit of an additional kick, consider doing a few mediation crime runs to aid yourself in battle.
