CityStates: Medieval is a cross-platform, empire-building blockchain MMO game under development for mobile and desktop platforms. Players will be able to create and grow their city in the game and upgrade their structures and armies as they move forward in the game.
To empower players with more customized play styles, the creators will allow them to implement their designs. For example, players will be able to modify their city to create essentials in large amounts but at a minimal price while procuring the materials required at a lower cost on the market.
What’s a CSM Token?
Players may exchange what they collect and make in-game resulting in the first real player-driven economy based on demand and supply. The CSM token symbolizes the intellectual property of the game and CityStates. In CSM we use HEX to trade, buy, and sell in almost every case. HEX is a Stellar Network token that one can purchase with IAPs or earn by producing resources and trading intelligently.
One can get or win HEX for free through various tournaments and initiatives. One can recommend new members to join the party!
The game’s graphic design is low-poly, and every structure and symbol has been hand-painted. The art style is similar to that of Age of Empires or Warcraft. There are other games like Clash of Clans also use a similar design.
The potential for players to make money while playing our game is probably the most intriguing aspect of our game designs. Medieval will be a turn-based strategy game with plenty of space for experimentation.
Procedurally the game algorithm produces a map, so the probability of getting the same map again to develop a particular strategy is relatively low.
The player will begin with only a few villagers and the resources required to construct the essential structures to establish their little economy. More villagers oblige to labor and eventually join the military as the city expands. Villagers and troops have essentials that the player must meet, such as food and wood to stay warm. As the player continues through the game, their prerequisites will vary.
Aside from the starting position, more structures will become available after achieving particular criteria. Players will be able to construct a marketplace that will serve as a conduit between their city and the world economy. After building the market, the player may begin exchanging resources, items, and so on with other players.
